A year at our school
2026 Small School's Athletics Carnival
Wyndham Public School proudly participated in the Far South Coast Small Schools Athletics Carnival hosted by Towamba Public School. Our students showcased their athletic skills, sportsmanship, and team spirit while competing alongside other small schools from the region. It was a fantastic day full of fun, fitness, and friendly competition, highlighting the talent and enthusiasm of our young athletes.
National Simultaneous Storytime
Wyndham Public School proudly joined the National Simultaneous Storytime event, bringing students together to enjoy a shared reading experience. This special day encouraged a love of reading and highlighted the joy of stories, as students across the country simultaneously listened to the same book. It was a fantastic opportunity to promote literacy and community spirit within our school.
World Bee Day
At Wyndham Public School, our students come together with a local Beekeeper to celebrate World Bee Day with fun and educational activities. Through hands-on projects and classroom discussions, they learned about the important role bees play in our environment and how we can help protect them. It was wonderful to see our community appreciate these tiny but mighty pollinators and their impact on our world.
GRIP Leadership Program
Our Year 6 students attend the GRIP Leadership Program conference in Canberra, where they have the opportunity to further develop their leadership skills. Throughout the conference, they participate in a range of engaging workshops and activities designed to inspire and empower young leaders. Collaborating with fellow Year 6 students from our region and the ACT, this experience helps them build confidence, teamwork, and essential leadership qualities that will benefit them both now and in the future. We are proud to support our students that take this important step in their leadership journey.
2026 Anzac Day
In 2026, our school community joined with the Wyndham community to come together for the Anzac Day Ceremony. On April 25, we remembered and honoured the bravery and sacrifice of Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women. It was a meaningful day of reflection, respect, and unity.
2026 Easter Hat Parade
The Easter had Parade is an afternoon of fun, laughter and festive spirits, as families and friends come together to admire the fantastic designs.
2026 Small Schools Swimming
Our small school swimming carnival was a splash of fun and friendly competition! Students showed great enthusiasm and teamwork as they raced and cheered. It was a fantastic day celebrating effort, sportsmanship, and school spirit!
2025 School Play
Pantastic - The Peter Pan Musical
This year, our school performed Pantastic: The Peter Pan Musical. The students did a great job acting, singing, and making the story of Neverland come alive. It was a fun show that showed their hard work and creativity!
Careers Week
Celebrate Careers Week at Wyndham Public School! Students explored exciting career pathways through interactive workshops and fun activities. It's a great opportunity to discover the possibilities for the future.
Stage 2 Camp 2025
Jindabyne
The Small Schools Stage 3 Camp to Jindabyne offers students an exciting opportunity to explore the great outdoors, build teamwork skills, and create lasting memories. Set in the stunning Snowy Mountains, the camp features engaging activities like hiking, kayaking, and environmental education, designed to inspire confident and foster a strong connection with nature. It's an unforgettable experience that brings our small school's community together!
Kitchen Garden Program
The Kitchen Garden Program teaches students how to grow, harvest and cook fresh, healthy food. It promotes hands-on learning, healthy eating habits, and environmental awareness, helping students connect with nature and build valuable life skills.
Water Bug Survey
The Bournda Water Bug Survey is a fun, hands-on activity where students explore local waterways to study water bugs and learn about freshwater ecosystems. This experience helps raise awareness of environmental health and the importance of protecting our natural habitats.
Ocean's Adventure Excursion
Merimbula
Ocean's Adventure is an exciting excursion to Merimbula where students explore the aquarium and discover the fascinating rock pools. this hands-on experience connects learners with marine life and coastal environments, inspiring curiosity and a deeper understanding of our oceans.
Festival of Instrumental Music
Sydney Opera House
Experience the magic of the Festival of Instrumental Music at the iconic Sydney Opera House. The vibrant celebration brings together talented musicians from across NSW to showcase their passion and skill in a range of instrumental performances. Inspiring concerts highlight the joy and diversity of music, creating unforgettable moments for young artists and audiences alike.
Far South Coast Dance & Drama Festival
Batemans Bay
Two amazing performances in one night at the Bay Pavilions. This combined festival showcased the incredible talents of public school students across our region through dynamic dance, compelling drama and powerful storytelling.
2025 Book Week Celebrations
Book an Adventure
Our 2025 Book Week was a wonderful success, bringing families together to celebrate the joy of reading. The highlight of the week was the much-anticipated Book Parade, where students showcased their favourite book characters in colourful and creative costumes.
Families enjoyed engaging activities that encouraged a love of books and storytelling, making it a memorable event for out school community. The enthusiasm and creativity displayed by everyone truly captured the spirit of Book Week.

Performing Arts Festival
Two brilliant evenings of performances at the SCLC Performing Arts Festival in Bega. The calibre of performances across the Sapphire Coast Public Schools was incredible. We had students perform in the choir, SCLC band and our Dance Ensemble.
